CABQ Days of Nonviolence

The City of Albuquerque is pleased to start the first Days of Nonviolence that commemorates the principles and philosophies of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. For 30 days, community members and allies will commit to practicing nonviolence as a lifestyle by applying the teachings of Dr. King to realistic scenarios. The community is invited to participate in a series of community events such as a neighborhood clean-up and participating in a community art mural. Additionally, educational webinars will be provided to community members that will focus on Dr. King’s philosophies and teachings to equip participants to become community ambassadors of peace.
